Orders and payment
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). Payment is taken securely through PayPal at the time of ordering — we never see your card details. Your order is accepted when payment completes and you receive the order confirmation.
Prices and stock
The total shown in your cart when you press PayPal is the total you pay. If a listing contains an obvious pricing error we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
Delivery
Postage is shown in your cart before you pay and is charged by destination: United Kingdom £2.99, Europe £10.99, rest of world £12.99 (software licences carry no postage; collection at a race meeting is free by arrangement). The delivery address is taken from your PayPal account at checkout — please make sure it is current. Orders sent outside the UK may be subject to import VAT, duties or handling fees charged by your country, which are your responsibility. We dispatch promptly and will contact you by email if anything delays your order.
Cancellations and returns
As a UK consumer you have the right to cancel an order for physical goods within 14 days of receiving them, for any reason, and a further 14 days to return the goods for a refund. To start a return, email mark@rcdynamics.co.uk with your order number. Returned goods should be unused and in their original condition, and you pay the cost of returning goods you have changed your mind about.
Faulty goods
If anything you buy from us is faulty, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply in full — we'll repair, replace or refund as the law provides. Nothing in these terms reduces your statutory rights.
Warranty cover does not extend to damage caused by misuse, including connecting a battery with reverse polarity. Reverse polarity causes permanent damage to electronic speed controllers and is not covered under warranty.
Software licences
A software licence unlocks features on one ESC, identified by its serial number. Licences are delivered by email and activated through the RCDynamics app; once activated they are bound to that ESC and cannot be transferred to another unit.
A licence is digital content. By activating it you agree that we supply it immediately and you give up the 14-day right to cancel.
Pre-orders
Where a product is offered for pre-order, the expected delivery timing is stated on the product page. Pre-orders are secured with a deposit stated at the time of order, calculated against the product's estimated RRP; the balance is requested by PayPal when your unit is ready and it ships once paid. Pre-order customers will pay no more than the estimated RRP stated when the deposit was taken, even if the final price is higher. Pre-orders may be limited to one unit per customer where stated on the product page. You may cancel a pre-order for a full refund of all sums paid at any time before dispatch by emailing us.
Firmware and the app
Firmware updates and the RCDynamics app are supplied as-is. Follow the on-screen instructions when updating and do not disconnect during an update.
Liability
Our products are designed and tested for radio-controlled model use. We are not liable for damage arising from installation or use outside the published instructions, but nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and consumers additionally benefit from any mandatory protections of the law where they live.
